iTunes U -- Public

NAU's public iTunes U makes NAU material available to all iTunes visitors, alongside content created by other colleges and universities, PBS stations, museums, and K-12 state projects. The external iTunes U site also can be a valuable recruitment and informational tool, offering another vehicle to share the research, activities, news, and events occurring at Northern Arizona University. Content is uploaded and managed by authorized departmental representatives who have been provided with access privileges. Authorization is determined by the Office of Public Affairs; access is provided by the e-Learning Center.

If your department is interested in sharing content this way complete the following steps to request space on iTunes U public.

  1. Read the guidelines
  2. Request a shell
  3. Office of Public Affairs will contact you to let you know who your departmental iTunes U manager will be, if there isn't one yet Office of Public Affairs will work with the department to identify the correct person to fill this role.
  4. Attend workshops through the e-Learning Center to learn about podcasting and if needed shell management.
  5. Read the tutorial called Uploading Content in iTunes U - Public
